For example, <em>Hon k\u00f6rde sin bil. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">v\u00e4gen<\/span> var n\u00e4stan tom.<\/em>, the suggestion is <em>V\u00e4gen<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-spelling\">Spelling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expanded dictionaries with <strong>840+ new words<\/strong> across English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, French, and Greek, covering abbreviations, technology terms, common words, proper names, and linguistics terms. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enriched cross-language dictionaries with <strong>150+ proper names and abbreviations<\/strong>, covering companies and software applications such as <em>Etsy<\/em>, <em>Depop<\/em>, <em>WebText<\/em>, and <em>USB-C<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhanced <strong>medical terminology<\/strong> for English, German, and Spanish with <strong>120+ new terms<\/strong>, such as <em>trichogram<\/em> and <em>hyporexia<\/em> in English, <em>anat\u00f3micamente<\/em> in Spanish, and <em>Implantatpr\u00fcfung<\/em> in German. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.wproofreader.com\/features\/specialized-dictionaries\">an English veterinary dictionary<\/a><\/strong>, disabled by default, covering <strong>180+ terms and abbreviations<\/strong> such as <em>GDV<\/em>, <em>oclacitinib<\/em>, and <em>Drontal<\/em>. It covers all available English dialects and administrators can enable it as needed in self-hosted set-up. For cloud users, now it can be provided upon request to <a href=\"mailto:support@webspellchecker.com\">support@webspellchecker.com<\/a>. It incorporates terms from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fao.org\/agrovoc\/\">AGROVOC<\/a> (FAO) combined with additional entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extended<strong> measurement-unit abbreviation spelling suggestions<\/strong>, such as <em>2GB<\/em> to <em>2 GB<\/em> and <em>3GHz<\/em> to <em>3 GHz<\/em>, to uppercase and mixed-case abbreviations across many Latin-alphabet languages. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added a rule for German (de_DE, de_AT) that lets administrators require <strong>the eszett (\u00df) instead of ss<\/strong>. By default, both forms are accepted; disabling <code>ALLOW_SS_INSTEAD_OF_ESZETT<\/code> makes <em>ss<\/em> spellings incorrect and suggests the <em>\u00df<\/em> form instead, and AI suggestions follow the same setting. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved <strong>handling of hyphenated words<\/strong>. Words that start with a hyphen, such as <em>-anforderungen<\/em>, are now recognized as correct when added to a dictionary with a leading hyphen, for most supported languages, except a few that don&#8217;t use hyphens this way, such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Japanese.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Style<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhanced style rule precision in Spanish by adding <strong>contextual awareness<\/strong> to foreign-word suggestions. Suggestions for terms like <em>power<\/em> now exclude medical contexts such as <em>Doppler<\/em>, based on user feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AI writing assistant<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduced the minimum text length required to use the AI writing assistant <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.wproofreader.com\/features\/ai-writing-assistant-aiwa#user-manual\">from 100 to 30 characters<\/a><\/strong>, making AI-powered text actions available for shorter text.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Autocomplete<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improved autocomplete language handling by using the detected language as a
