On July 10, 2026, at 19:00 (UTC+3), a configuration change on our side unintentionally disrupted the WebSpellChecker cloud service for a limited group of clients. The issue lasted approximately 12 hours and was fully resolved by 07:00 (UTC+3) on July 11, 2026. All other cloud clients were not affected and continued to work as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The issue occurred while we were enabling new product types for existing cloud accounts, including our recent integrations for Moodle, Learnosity, Quill, and Tiptap. In total, 126 cloud accounts were affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Importantly, this was a configuration issue, not a security incident. <\/strong>No client data was exposed, lost, or accessed by unauthorized parties at any point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the issue was identified, we restored the previous authorization settings for all affected accounts, and the service returned to normal operation. We have verified the fix and are contacting the affected clients directly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prevent similar issues in the future, we are making authorization settings consistent across all cloud accounts, moving product type management to the group level, introducing a mandatory review of cloud health dashboards after any large-scale change, and adding automated alerting for significant drops in cloud usage, so that similar issues are detected within minutes rather than hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
