<a href=\"https:\/\/wproofreader.com\/\">https:\/\/wproofreader.com\/<\/a>).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Services<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> means any action of WebSpellChecker required for provision of Products including <\/span>on-premise<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and cloud solutions, technical support services, as well as provision of access to the Websites.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Websites<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mean collectively the sites that WebSpellChecker operates under the following domains and its sub-domains, namely: *<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">webspellchecker.com<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; *<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">webspellchecker.net<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; *<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scayt.com<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; *<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wproofreader.com<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-WhatInformationWeCollect\">What Information We Collect<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We collect Personal Data such as your first and last name, email, and telephone number as further described below.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-InformationYouProvide\">Information You Provide<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We collect information about you when you sign up for the Services or otherwise provide it directly to us.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-AccountandProfileInformation\">ACCOUNT AND PROFILE INFORMATION<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Account registration<\/strong>. When you register an Account to use our Cloud Services, we will collect Personal Data as necessary to offer and fulfill the Services you request. Depending on the Cloud Services you choose, we may require you to provide us with your name, telephone number and email address to establish an Account.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Payment information<\/strong>. We use third-party service providers (PayPal and Stripe) to manage credit card processing if any occurs. See the details in section How We Share Information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-InformationYouProvideThroughOurSupportChannels\">INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE THROUGH OUR SUPPORT CHANNELS<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether you designate yourself as a technical contact, open a support ticket, speak to one of our representatives directly or otherwise engage with our support team, you will be asked to provide your contact information. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-OtherSubmissions\">OTHER SUBMISSIONS<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Upon receiving your permission, we may collect other data through our Website<\/span>s<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or as you participate in any interactive features of the Services, participate in a survey, promotion, request customer support, communicate with us via third party social media sites or otherwise communicate with us. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-InformationWeCollectWhenYouUseOurServices\">Information We Collect When You Use Our Services<\/h3>\n<h4>INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA WEB LOGS<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In case of your use of our Websites, we gather information that includes internet protocol (IP) addresses as well as browser type, internet service provider, URLs of referring\/exit pages, operating system, date\/time stamp, information you search for, locale and language preferences, identification numbers associated with your devices, and system configuration information.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-CookiesandSimilarTechnologies\">INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Cookies<\/strong> are small data files collected by your browser and stored on your hard drive or in device memory.<\/p>\n<p>Information collected via cookies may include your username or password, information used to fill in web forms, such as address or telephone. Such information is not sent to WebSpellChecker, it is saved in your browser.<\/p>\n<p>WebSpellChecker has access via cookies to information such as number of visits or preferences related to services features or popularity of web pages. Such information does not contain any Personal Data.<br \/>You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all aspects of our Websites or Cloud Services. To find out more about how we use cookies and how to manage your cookie preferences please see our <a href=\"\/cookies-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cookies Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>WebSpellChecker and our third party service provider also collect information using <strong>web beacons<\/strong> (also known as \u201c<strong>tracking pixels<\/strong>\u201d). Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in our Websites or in emails that help us to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and determine whether an email has been opened and acted upon. Web beacons do not collect any Personal Data.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JavaScript<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>HTML5 local storage<\/strong> to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services. Many browsers include their own management tools for removing HTML5 local storage objects.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"HowWeUseYourInformation\">How We Use Your Information<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>To provide the Services<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We use your contact information to send transactional communications <\/span>regarding the paid Products <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">via email and within the Services, including confirming your purchases, reminding you of expirations of Services or Support Subscriptions or the License Terms (as both of the foregoing terms are defined in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/webspellchecker.com\/legal\/software-license-agreement\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WebSpellChecker Software License Agreement<\/span><\/a> or<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/webspellchecker.com\/legal\/terms-of-service\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WebSpellChecker Terms of Services<\/span><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/wproofreader.com\/terms.html\">WProofreader Terms of Service<\/a> or WProofreader Business License Agreement<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), responding to your comments, questions and requests, providing customer support, and sending you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages. We also send you communications as you onboard to a particular Service to help you become more proficient in using that Service.\u00a0 These communications are part of the Services and in most cases you cannot opt out of them.\u00a0 If an opt out is available, you will find that option within the communication itself or in your account settings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>To market, promote and drive engagement with the Services.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> With your consent we use your contact information and information about how you use the Services to send promotional communications that may be of specific interest to you. These communications are aimed at driving engagement and maximizing what you get out of the Services, including information about new features, survey requests, newsletters, and events we think may be of interest to you.\u00a0 We also communicate with you about new product offers, promotions and contests. PayPal\u00ae collects and processes your personal data, including transaction and experience information, information about your friends and contacts. PayPal\u00ae uses this information to process transactions, prevent fraud, perform creditworthiness and other financial standing checks, evaluate applications, and compare information for accuracy and verification purposes. Stripe collects and processes personal data, including identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides, including for fraud detection and prevention. We strongly recommend that administrators of Server Products configure SSL to prevent interception of data transmitted over networks and to restrict access to the databases and other storage used to hold data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, we can\u2019t guarantee that any incidentally-collected Personal Data you choose to store in Websites or Cloud Services are maintained at levels of protection to meet specific needs or obligations you may have relating to that information.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"PrivacyPolicy-InternationalDataTransfers\" class=\"_f8ca21-paragraph\">International Data Transfers<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We may transfer Personal Data to countries other than the country in which the data was originally collected.
